I don't normally leave reviews but considering how much money I spent after my tummy tuck I thought this might help someone else.
The surgery itself was only the beginning of the spending. Garments, appointments, massages, random recovery stuff... it just kept going.
Nova was expensive upfront but I liked the idea of buying something once that I could actually keep at home. I waited until my surgeon was happy for me to start using it and started very gently.
The biggest surprise was the device itself. It's heavy/substantial enough that it doesn't feel like some little beauty gadget. The rollers actually grip and move across the area rather than just buzzing against you.
Still doing my professional appointments. I just don't feel as dependent on them anymore.
I had lipo 360 in June and my stomach/flanks were the areas that stayed feeling the most swollen. My therapist actually got me really interested in drainage in the first place. I bought Nova mainly so I could have something at home between appointments.
Was expecting it to be weaker tbh. The rollers have some actual pressure behind them. I still see my therapist, this just means I’m not sitting around doing nothing for the other 5 days.
I was sceptical about the red light part but honestly I bought it for the rolling compression anyway. It feels NOTHING like those vibrating massage guns. Much more like a firm rolling/kneading feeling.

Post op recovery is already stressful enough without having to drive somewhere every time you want drainage 😭 I love being able to shower, put something on TV and use this at home. The red light + rolling together is such a nice touch too.

BBL girls… the DONOR AREAS 😩
That’s all I’m gonna say lol. Nova has been so good to have at home for my stomach and sides after I was cleared.
I’m probably not the typical customer because I’m not post-op. I just love lymphatic massage and was getting sick of paying for appointments.
I use Nova maybe 3–4 nights a week, mostly thighs, stomach and arms. The spheres feel surprisingly firm and I LOVE that the red light is built into the same device.
It’s become one of those things I use without even thinking about it now.

Had lipo on my abdomen and back. I bought so many stupid recovery things that ended up untouched, but Nova is still beside my bed. That probably says enough.

10/10 for convenience. Post-op appointments were basically becoming my second job 😂
I travel for work and always get that gross heavy/puffy feeling after flying. Nova came with me on my last trip and I used it as soon as I got to the hotel. New travel essential for me.

I'm 56 and usually roll my eyes at products marketed towards menopausal women because apparently we're supposed to buy 47 supplements and become 25 again.
This isn't that.
I bought Nova for the fluid retention/heaviness I've started noticing, particularly in my legs. I appreciate that it's just a physical device I can use when I feel like I need it. The compression feels substantial, the red light is a nice addition and the whole thing takes me maybe 10 minutes while I'm sitting on the sofa.
Some weeks I use it constantly, other weeks hardly at all. That's actually why I like owning it rather than booking treatments. It's there when I want it.

I bought this because my legs started feeling so heavy and puffy in the evenings over the last year. Wasn't looking for weight loss or anything like that, just wanted something for drainage that I could do myself.
Very happy with it. I mostly use it while watching television and the rolling sensation is lovely.
Simple review: it feels expensive, it feels GOOD, and unlike 90% of the wellness crap I've bought I actually use it.

05Good to know
Questions, answered honestly.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
Try it for 60 days at home. If your swelling isn’t visibly going down, send it back for a full refund — free return shipping, no questions asked.
When after surgery can I start using Nova?
Follow your surgeon’s timeline and start once they’ve cleared you for massage — most of our post-op owners begin in week two or three. When in doubt, ask them first, then start gently.
Is it safe around my incisions and scars?
Never roll directly over open or healing incisions. Work around them, on the swollen areas you’ve been cleared for — abdomen, flanks, back, thighs, arms. Once incisions are fully closed and cleared, gentle passes nearby are fine.
I still see my MLD therapist — do I need this?
Keep seeing them. Nova is for the other five or six days: swelling doesn’t pause between appointments, and at $200 a session daily drainage isn’t realistic at the clinic. Most owners describe Nova as the reason they stopped feeling dependent on visits.
What does the red light actually do?
Honestly: most people buy Nova for the rolling compression and end up loving the light. It warms the area gently as you roll and makes ten minutes feel like a treatment rather than a chore. We don’t make medical claims about it — the drainage comes from the spheres.
Will it be strong enough?
Yes — “stronger than it looks” is the most common line in our reviews. Nova is heavy and substantial in the hand, and the spheres grip and knead across the tissue instead of buzzing on the surface. After surgery, start gently and build up.
Halo or Nova — which one is for me?
Nova is the wide roller for big areas — post-op abdomen, back, flanks and thighs, plus heavy legs later — with built-in red light. Halo is the compressive-microvibration handpiece with a dedicated face head, for precision work and daily face de-puffing. Many post-op owners start with Nova; if your focus is face and neck, choose Halo.
I’m not post-op. Is Nova still worth it?
Absolutely. Plenty of Nova owners aren’t post-op — they bought it for heavy legs, water retention, travel puffiness or the swelling that shows up in perimenopause. It works on fluid wherever it sits: ten minutes on the sofa, whenever you feel puffy.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Most women feel lighter and less tight after the first few sessions. Visible change builds week by week — over the same weeks you’d normally be sitting in a clinic waiting room.
